External microfiltration – Royal filter – SPECIAL SET – is a solution for cloudy water in hot tubs, swim spas and swimming pools, which is able to filter everything from 3 microns. Thanks to this set, the water will always be crystal clear from now on. And that for a short time and little money. The pump is very powerful, its power consumption is only 100 W and it can perfectly filter up to 3 m3 per hour. The filter media is fine, has a long life and you will see any contamination on it. The external filter unit is very easy and quick to put into operation, with any hot tub, swim spa or swimming pool, whenever you need it.

But the most ideal time for filtering is the first three weeks after filling the hot tub, swim spa and pool with new water or during continuous refilling.

Filtration works very well for our customers in combination with chlorine-free KYROL TC disinfection.

Filtration is not suitable for use in swimming pools with salt water treatment.

The main advantages of this filtration:
– by means of a multifunctional microfiltration medium, it filters everything from 3 microns in size, absorbs odors and bacteria, essentially filters out almost everything from crystal clear water. And you would be surprised what else is in the apparently clean water.

– it is 7 to 20 times more powerful and effective than commonly used cartridge filters for hot tubs, depending on their quality, and more than 100 times more effective than filtration in inflatable hot tubs.

– it is a very good helper even for owners of high-quality hot tubs with a high-quality filtration system in areas with hard water, but also when the water in the hot tub becomes cloudy in any way and for any reason.

– it is extremely suitable and useful in the first days after filling any hot tub. It will help you significantly eliminate scale, water sludge and everything that should not be in water. In this way, you save a great deal on the cartridge filters of the hot tub, as hard water can often literally “concrete” them, even if you try to keep them clean to the maximum.

– saves pumps, hot tub heating element and control valves.

Our tip: You can have the hoses draped over the edge of the pool/hot tub and you don’t have to feed them to the filter circuit of the pool/hot tub. It is important that the filtration is placed below the water level in the pool/hot tub. The hoses need to be weighed down with something – tie something to them that will be submerged in the water, for example, diving weights or mugs; or load it over the edge of the pool / hot tub with a cover so that the hoses do not jump out of the water.

Our tip: In the case of connecting the hoses over the edge, you need to fill both hoses with water before starting and then submerge them in the pool / hot tub. Otherwise, the filtration will be aerated and the pump will start making a strange sound and will not cope with it. After start-up, we recommend placing the suction hose below on one side of the pool / hot tub and the discharge hose above the bottom and on the other side. This will create better circulation and therefore water filtration. However, this is not necessary for proper filtering, it is only a recommendation.

PACKAGE CONTENTS OF THE FILTRATION SET:

1. Microfiltration

With this filtration, the water passes through a new generation of filtering filter cartridges / balls (see details below in point no. 2) and these capture impurities.
It is important to keep the filter balls clean as needed and to remove them once in a while and wash them in clean water.

Features

Microfiltration consists of a filter container that works optimally with 500-600g of filter media.
The container is made of high-quality polypropylene (PP).
It is resistant to commonly used chemicals, resists corrosion and is seamless.
Filtration is equipped with a pressure gauge, built-in components of the filter container, including an easy-to-operate 6-way valve (which is built into the lid of the filter container), a drainage valve, a pump motor with a power of 100 W, a plastic base for assembly at the installation site.
During production, strict technical standards are followed and the filtration undergoes an output inspection.

2. Royal multifunctional filter medium / filter balls

Multifunctional filter medium with filter efficiency from 3 microns. Just wash the medium in the washing machine and use it again.

Our tip: After each wash, put the filter medium in a bucket with cold water and disinfectant. It has proven itself the most and we use Kyrol TC chlorine-free disinfection in a ratio of 20 ml Kyrol TC to 10 liters of water. Leave the balls there for a few minutes for perfect disinfection. You can take the balls out in a few minutes (if you leave them there overnight, for example, it won’t hurt them), wring them out, dry them and they are ready for use again.
